BANNOCKBURN, Ill.--Great Lakes Credit Union has promoted Jody Larabee, Jim Buerer, and Chris Visocnik.
Larabee, VP Member Services, will be responsible for the evolution of GLCU’s retail branches and Call Center. During her tenure at GLCU, she has held the positions of Call Center Manager, Branch Manager and AVP Operations. She has over 30 years of experience in customer service and retail, 24 of which has been with GLCU. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Carthage College, the CU said.
Buerer, VP Information Systems, will be responsible for core data processing and ancillary technology solutions for GLCU. Throughout his time at GLCU, he has held the roles of Manager Information Systems, AVP Information Systems and Director Information Systems. He has over 30 years of experience in Information Systems management, 25 of which has been with GLCU. He has a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, the CU said.
Chris Visocnik, VP Information Technology, will be responsible for leading the IT network and service desk teams at GLCU. He has 22 years of experience in information technology, 15 of which has been in IT management in the financial service industry. He has expertise in information security, enterprise architecture and data center infrastructure, the CU said.
