AUSTIN, Texas – Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union (GTFCU) hosted a free Shred Day Event here at its Airport Blvd. location.
This was the first time a shred day was held at the location and the whole community was encouraged to come out and shred their personal and confidential documents for free, including bank statements, invoices, contracts and tax returns.
More than 68 cars arrived and more than 4,000 pounds of paper was shredded and recycled by Shred-it on-site.
