AUSTIN, Texas–Greater Texas Credit Union donated $5,000 to CUAid, the National Credit Union Foundation’s disaster relief system, which raises money for credit union people affected by the recent hurricanes. The check was presented to Caroline Willard, president & CEO, Cornerstone Credit Union League following a local chapter of credit unions event.
Greater Texas Credit Union has made it a priority to support local and national fundraising efforts of the community and those a part of the credit union movement.
“Our thoughts and prayers continue for folks affected by Hurricane Harvey, as well as those impacted by the recent flurry of hurricane activity in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico,” said Greater Texas President & CEO Howard Baker. “It’s what we do: people helping people.”
