CAMBRIDGE, Mass.–Many local residents will have a brighter holiday season thanks to an additional $100,000 in donations to community organizations made this month by Harvard University Employees Credit Union.
The $100,000 of additional charitable contributions was approved by HUECU’s board based on the CU’s strong financial performance in 2021.
HUECU said it is proud to add an additional $100,000 to this year’s charitable budget, and has donated to the following organizations:
- Cambridge Family & Children’s Service (CFCS)
- Food For Free
- Greater Boston Food Bank
- Green Cambridge
- Massachusetts Homeless Coalition
- Phillips Brooks House Association (PBHA)
- Somerville Cambridge Elder Services
- Somerville Homeless Coalition
- Tutoring Plus
