LITTLETON, Mass.– Hanscom Federal Credit Union celebrated the opening of its 21stbranch at 25 Porter Road here with a ribbon-cutting ceremony among dozens of invited guests.
“We’ve been fortunate to find a warm, welcoming community in Littleton,” said Paul Marotta, Hanscom FCU’s Chairman of the Board. “A lot of careful thought and working hours have gone into making this day happen. We have many members who live in the vicinity who’ve been waiting for a long time for a more convenient branch, and here we are, with every convenience and the great service they’ve come to expect from us.”
The branch, housed on the ground floor of a 67,000 sq.-ft. office building just off the 495/Rt. 2 interchange, offers plenty of parking spaces for members, convenient Monday through Friday hours, and a 24-hour ATM that accepts deposits, the credit union said. HFCU ccupies the rest of the building along with several other smaller companies.
Hanscom Federal hosted many special guests for the official unveiling of the new branch, including Keith Bergman, Littleton’s Town Administrator; Christopher Grallert, president, Littleton Community Farm; Walter Laskos, Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications, Cooperative Credit Union Association; Col. Roman L. Hund, Commander, 66thAir Base Group, Hanscom AFB; and Chief Master Sergeant Henry Hayes, Jr., Command Chief, 66thAir Base Group, Hanscom AFB.
