LITTLETON, Mass.– Hanscom Federal Credit has named Maria Vasilevsky Senior Vice President, Project Management.
She comes to the CU after four years at Direct Federal Credit Union in Needham, MA, where she established a PMO and worked with Lean and process improvement. Prior to her career in banking, she was a project management consultant, and before that she specialized in proposal writing and contracts. Vasilevsky, who holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
“In Maria, we’ve found a senior leader who’s the right person to lead our Project Management Office,” said Jim Potter, Hanscom FCU’s Chief Operating Officer. “She’ll be creating, organizing, prioritizing, and executing the strategies we’ll need throughout the organization to bring our many projects and initiatives to fruition, on time and on budget.”
“My vision is to help design and build a Project Management Office for Hanscom FCU that provides a strong level of support for project stakeholders and helps to keep projects healthy and successful, so that the organization can grow and navigate change to the best of its ability,” said Vasilevsky. “I’m excited to have the chance to help shift our culture to one of Lean/Continuous Improvement, in which we work to reduce waste while considering challenges from the members’ point of view. I envision playing a role in improving how we work, and how we interact with our members digitally, across the organization.”
