INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn.–On Miracle Treat Day, Heartland Credit Union (Heartland) offered to buy members a Blizzard to thank them for their membership, while helping raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Over 140 Heartland members, across the United States, took advantage of the offer.
On Miracle Treat Day $1 or more is donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for every Blizzard sold at a participating DQ store. “This was our second year doing this for our members and it was truly rewarding,” said Kathy Harrington, Heartland President. “We put a smile on our members’ faces and raised money for a great cause – there’s nothing better than that.”
For more than 10 years, the DQ system has celebrated Miracle Treat Day. Thanks to the generosity of local DQ stores and fans, over $2 million was donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the United States and Canada. These donations help provide support for over 32 million patient visits each year to local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
