Heritage Trust Breaks Ground on Branch

CHARLESTON, S.C.–Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union has broken ground on its newest branch location on the Charleston peninsula. The new financial center will be located at 22 WestEdge in the heart of the city’s innovation district, and will feature a high-tech delivery model that will provide credit union members with an unparalleled level of service.

WestEdge is a new 50-acre mixed use community located on the banks of the Ashley River just minutes from historic downtown Charleston. Heritage Trust said it selected the site because of its future occupants and close proximity to several of the credit unions largest employer groups. The new facility will be the credit union’s first location on the Charleston peninsula and its 17th overall.

“22 WestEdge will be a state-of-the-art facility that will enable us to expand the level of service we provide to our members on the Charleston peninsula. Located minutes away from some of our largest employer groups, this new branch reinforces our longstanding commitment to this region and to the members and businesses we serve,” said Emily Reynolds, Heritage Trust Chief Development Officer.
