ROCHESTER, N.H.– Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) continued its Christmas Caring Campaign this week by recognizing six more local non-profit organizations with holiday donations.
The Friends of Hyder Family Hospice House, Rochester Youth Reach, Dover Police Charities, Seymour Osman Community Center, Barrington Community Food Pantry, and On Belay were the grateful recipients of the charitable contributions.
“We are thankful to be able to support the many organizations right here in our own neighborhoods,” said Brian Hughes, President & CEO of HRCU. “This is just a small way that we can say thank you during the holidays to those who selflessly help others in our community every day.”
HRCU’s 2015 Christmas Caring Campaign ran through December and recognized 16 local non-profit organizations with over $25,000 in charitable giving.
At a joint presentation at the Dover Housing Authority, donations were made to both the Seymour Osman Community Center and Dover Police Charities. The Community Center provides enrichment programs to the 270 children under the age of 18 living in the Housing Authority, while the donation to the Police Charities will help fill holiday food baskets going to needy families in the Garrison City.
