KALAMAZOO, Mich.–Honigman LLP has hired Brandy Bruyere as a partner in the firm’s Washington office, the company announced.
Bruyere, previously NAFCU’s vice president of regulatory compliance, will focus on counseling credit unions on consumer financial services laws, regulations, guidance, and public policies. She will address: TILA/Regulation Z, ECOA/Regulation B, Gramm-Leach-Bliley/Regulation P, UDAAP, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Military Lending Act, Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, NCUA regulations, and the Bank Secrecy Act.

Bruyere, who is part of Honigman’s Corporate Department, earned her juris doctor degree from University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, and her bachelor of arts degree from American University.
