HEATH, Ohio–Hopewell Federal Credit Union has presented the winner of its annual $1,000 Service Scholarship to Aubrey Barger.
Barger, a recent graduate of Licking Valley High School and will attend The Ohio State University
Barger has excelled academically while also being involved in many organizations. Barger is a member of the Licking Valley High School Band, National Honors Society, and 4-H Club, to name a few.
Applicants were asked to reflect with a video submission on the following: “Consider the past, present, and future of financial education and reflect on what could be done better. Reflect on why financial literacy is so important for our youth. Share what elements to financial education you hope to see in the coming years.”
