SPOKANE, Wash.–From May 9-31, Horizon Credit Union members and employees teamed up to raise $13,962 for the annual Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) campaign.
All 29 branches participated in fundraising efforts, through paper balloon donations in-branch and internal campaigns such as weekly BINGO prizes and dress-up Community Spirit Days— where employees can donate $5 or more to wear jeans and logowear, or dress up as their favorite sports team, as their boss, at thebeach and more.
Of the proceeds raised, $7,910 was donated to Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in Spokane, $4,706 was donated to St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho, and $1,346 was donated to Shodair Children’s Hospital in Helena, Mont.
