TUCSON, Ariz.–Hughes Federal Credit Union said its employees have helped generate a donation of $3,225 to CUAid.coop for those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. The employee initiative resulted in $1,225, along with a company matching gift of $1,000 and $1,000 from the company's charitable arm, Hughes Helps.
The donation is being made through the disaster relief system of the National Credit Union Foundation and will go towards aiding credit union employees, members, and volunteers who were affected by the recent devastation.
In 2016, Hughes Federal Credit Union provided more than $80,000 in support to over 100 different local organizations.
