TUCSON, Ariz.–Hughes Federal Credit Union employees came together over the holiday season to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
After participating in two fundraisers and selling candy bars at local branches throughout the year, Hughes also participated in the annual radiothon in 2016.
Hughes generated $15,021 in donations as part of Credit Union for Kids, benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and TMC for Children. Credit Unions for Kids is the most comprehensive fundraising vehicle for members of the credit union movement, which benefits the group's charity of choice, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
“We want to give a big thank you to our hard-working staff and member-owners for their generous contributions to our spring and fall 2016 fundraisers for this great cause,” said Kellie Terhune Neely, Hughes FCU’s vice president of marketing. “We also thank Co-Op ATM network for their fall Miracle Match and 94.9 MixFM for hosting the radiothon.”
