FITCHBURG, Mass.– At its recent annual meeting, IC Federal Credit Union awarded five $1,000 scholarships to applicants from around the surrounding community. IC introduced the special scholarship program seven years ago for college-bound seniors who are members or whose parents/guardians are members of IC FCU.
“We are proud to recognize the future leaders of our community,” said Tony Emerson, CEO. “Their essay’s about establishing or supporting a community program, were simply outstanding,” continued Emerson, “and we have encouraged them to pursue their ideas and be a part of what makes our community great.
