POTTSTOWN, Penn.--Diamond Credit Union hosted a food drive, Angel Tree, and Holiday Sweater Contest to support various local organizations. The Food Drive was held at the Pottstown Branch from November 25 through December 18 in support of the Pottstown Salvation Army. The Food Drive resulted in 700 non‐perishable food items and a $350 cash donation for the local food pantry.
The Angel Tree gift drive, was held at the Wyomissing Branch in support of The Children’s Home of Reading from early December through December 18. Unwrapped gifts were collected to make the holidays brighter for local adolescents who currently reside at The Children’s Home.
In the spirit of blending hard work with fun, Diamond held a Holiday Sweater Contest. Employees from various branches and departments participated by wearing their most ridiculous holiday sweater and volunteering for their photo to be shared on Diamond’s facebook page. Each employee chose a charity to support, and the employee whose photo receives the most likes will receive a $100 donation for the charity of their choosing.
