NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois Credit Union League’s (ICUL) 86th Annual Convention was attended by 103 credit unions and 660 attendees. The guests were hosted by ICUL CEO, Tom Kane and also had the opportunity to a Meet & Greet with CUNA President/CEO, Jim Nussle. The convention attendees interacted with both the executives to discuss challenges and concerns of credit unions at a state and national level.
The 86th Convention debuted new events, including motivational speaker sessions by renowned author, Doug Nielsen, & award winning conservationist, Rad Watkins; the Celebration Luncheon, and exciting raffle drawings for attendees. LSC, Accomplus, CUNA Mutual Group, CUNA Strategic Services, FHLB Chicago, American Share Insurance, ESI, CU Mobile Apps, UBS, FIS, BKD, and CUES were the primary sponsors for the convention.
The ICUL Annual Convention’s theme of “Think Community- we’re better together” recognizes the power of working together toward a common goal. The three day Convention concludes Saturday, at the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center.
