INDIANAPOLIS–Indiana Members Credit Union has been named one of the 2024 Best Places to Work in Indiana.
This marks the 19th edition for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce initiative.
The statewide survey and awards program is designed to evaluate participating organizations and honor those with the highest levels of employee satisfaction and engagement in the workplace.
“IMCU is honored to have been named one of the ‘Best Places to Work in Indiana’ for 2024 by the Indiana Chamber,” said President and CEO John Newett. “Thank you to our team for sharing their feedback and making this happen! It has always been an important part of our culture here at IMCU to create a positive and friendly work environment, and it is one of our key strategic initiatives to remain an employer of choice. We will continue to strive for excellence for our team, ultimately to provide our members with the best possible service.”
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
* Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government organization
* Be a publicly or privately held organization
* Have a physical operation in Indiana
* Have at least 15 full- or part-time permanent employees working in Indiana
* Have been in business for at least one year, at the program registration deadline.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Indiana. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process, the Employer Assessment, was worth approximately 20% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience.
