INDIANAPOLIS–The Indiana Members Foundation, the charitable arm of Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), hosted a charity golf outing to benefit Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) Foundation.
Some 96 golfers attended the event, which raised over $30,000 to benefit the EVSC Foundation, which supports EVSC schools and programs. EVSC is the third largest school district in Indiana with just under 22,000 students enrolled.
Highlights of the day included a complimentary breakfast, 18 holes of golf, a putting contest, followed by lunch, awards, and many donated prizes from local merchants were given away. Indiana Members Credit Union served as the title sponsor of the event.
“A huge thank you to all of our generous sponsors, volunteers, donors, and participants for making our 4th annual charity golf outing in support of the EVSC Foundation at the Evansville Country Club a resounding success,” Mandy Emery, vice president of community involvement for IMCU and foundation executive director, said in a statement. “Your donations will make a huge impact in the lives of so many that would otherwise not be possible. Together we raised thousands of dollars to support the educational needs of the students within the EVSC community. We are so grateful for the outpouring of support.”
