Inspire FCU Cuts Ribbon on New HQ

NEWTOWN, Penn.– Inspire Federal Credit Union celebrated the opening of its new branch and corporate headquarters with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by an afternoon of fun, food and entertainment.

The ribbon cutting was held at 3 Friends Lane in Newtown, the new home of Inspire Federal Credit Union. Jim Merrill, the CU’s president/CEO, was joined by the IFCU’s board, staff, township supervisors, business leaders in Newtown, and state representative Perry Warren.

“I can’t think of a better place than Newtown for Inspire to call home for many years to come”. Talking about the journey of the credit union,” Merrill said. “We began the process of looking for a new headquarters about a year and a half ago and quickly realized through our due diligence process that Newtown would be the perfect place. There is such a thriving business community and it is perfectly situated for our continued growth and expansion in Bucks County.”

Following the ribbon cutting, Inspire FCU  invited members of both the credit union, and the surrounding local community to join it in the celebration. There was free food, entertainment, and tours of their new state of the art facility.

Merrill also presented a check for $2,000 to the Barkann Family Healing Hearts Foundation to contribute to its mission of helping those in need in the Bucks County community. In attendance to accept the check was Michael Barnes, Executive Director of the foundation, and Michael Barkann, a Philadelphia sports broadcaster and co-founder of the foundation.
