Jax Federal Credit Union Names Saman Vice President of Business Services

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jax Federal Credit Union has appointed Charlie Saman Vice President of Business Services.

Saman has built an extensive career in the financial services industry, and has served in executive leadership positions in the business sector for over 18 years. Most recently, he was the Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager of PNC Bank where he served businesses with annual gross revenues ranging from $5 million to $50 million to mitigate risk, advance return and build relationships to better support their goals. Previously, he served as the Vice President, Business Banking Officer of BBVA as well as Vice President, Small Business Banker division of Bank of America in Jacksonville; both organizations saw significant client portfolio growth during his tenure.

“Jax Federal Credit Union is deeply invested in building and supporting businesses in Northeast Florida,” said John Servos, CEO and President of Jax Federal Credit Union. “Charlie brings with him extraordinary experience in our region’s business sector, and his expertise will undoubtedly strengthen our ability to serve our small business members in meeting their goals.”

In his new role as Vice President of Business Services, Saman will develop the strategic vision and manage the business banking platform — utilizing data analytics combined with environmental conditions and trends to best position Jax Federal Credit Union within the marketplace.

“It is exciting to join the Jax Federal Credit Union team at this moment of dynamic growth,” said Saman. “I am honored to join this institution that has served the business community in our region for over 85 years and to continue to build on its legacy of dedication and excellence.”
