MIAMI LAKES, Fla.–JetStream Financial Credit Union hosted its 2024 Future Financial Professional Summer Intern Program.
This four-week program combines the efforts of the Center for Financial Training, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, JetStream FCU, and other institutions to bring knowledge and hands-on experience to high school students in the community.
“As part of the curriculum, students explore areas of knowledge such as professional skills, employability, financial products and services, banking, teller work, lending, and overall finances,” the credit union said.
In addition, students earn an American Bankers Association certification. This year, JetStream hosted seven students from Barbara Goleman High School, William H. Turner Technical Arts High School, and Miami Lakes Educational Center.
