BOULDER, Colo.— Debra Johnston has joined Elevations Credit Union as Chief People Officer, bringing over 16 years of experience in human resource management to its leadership team. “Debra is a proven top-notch leader who will help foster the engagement of our team and build upon our high-performance culture,” said Gerry Agnes, President and CEO of Elevations. “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome her to our team.”
Johnston most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources at Nordstrom fsb – Bank & Credit division in Centennial, Colo., and Human Resources Business Partner at Nordstrom Inc. for the CFO and EVP Strategy in Seattle, Wash.

Johnston’s extensive experience includes leadership roles at InnovAge and HSBC. She holds a master’s degree in human resources, plus certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
