COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado recently recognized Bob Walla, Ent’s director of employment, relations and welfare, for 25 years of service on its board of directors. He is a past board chair and currently sits on the executive committee as vice chair- human resources.
Walla received a 20-year volunteer award last year for his commitment to teaching JA’s classroom programs; as a volunteer he has taught more than 70 classes.
“Bob is a very caring and compassionate person,” said Sharie Flanagan, Ent’s SVP of human resources and training. “His sincerity and dedication are evident in his daily work, and I know he brings the same attributes to his volunteer service with JA.”
Walla has been with Ent since 2009 and holds a bachelor of science degree in commerce with a major in personnel management from DePaul University.
