METAIRIE, La.—Keesler Federal Credit Union will celebrate the grand opening of its newest Metairie branch with a free community event on Saturday, June 27, featuring live entertainment, food, giveaways and charitable donations. The new office at 615 Veterans Blvd. marks another milestone in the credit union's continued growth, bringing its total to 16 branches across the greater New Orleans region.
The grand opening celebration will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and include performances by the Mande Milkshakers, complimentary barbecue and snowballs, appearances by members of the New Orleans Saints Cheer Team, and prize drawings for signed jerseys from Saints defensive end Cam Jordan and former New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado.
As part of the festivities, Keesler Federal will present $10,000 donations to both the Mande Milkshakers and TEP Center in recognition of their contributions to the local community, underscoring the credit union's commitment to supporting organizations that serve area residents.
