Keesler's Swoger Named Top CEO

Andrew Swoger

BILOXI, Miss. – Andrew Swoger, President and Chief Executive Officer of Keesler Federal Credit Union, was named as a Top CEO by the Mississippi Business Journal at their recent 2024 CEO Awards of Mississippi.

Since joining Keesler Federal in 2016, Swoger’s vision and leadership have resulted in record growth and earnings for the credit union—from $2 billion to $4 billion in asset size, over one hundred thousand new members, and expansion of its footprint to 41 branches, including two new markets in Louisiana and Alabama. Before joining Keesler Federal, Swoger was the Chief Financial Officer of Texas Credit Union and is credited with returning the struggling institution to a healthy financial state.

Swoger recently negotiated an innovative partnership with the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans NFL and NBA franchises, positioning Keesler Federal as the “Official Credit Union" for these two professional teams.

“It is a huge honor to be recognized by the Mississippi Business Journal,” Swoger commented. “I am grateful for the dedication and support of the extraordinary team at Keesler Federal who helped make all our achievements over the past eight years possible. We are singularly driven by our passion to serve the best interests of our members and communities.”
