AUBURN HILLS, Mich.–The personal finance publication Kiplinger has named Genius High Yield Checking from Genisys Credit Union the #1 Top-Yielding Checking Account in the nation.
The account pays an annual percentage yield (APY) of 6.75% and offers debit reward points on purchases.
“With inflation impacting everyone’s budget, Genisys is fortunate to be in a position where we can give back to our members,” President and CEO Jackie Buchanan said in a statement. “Genius Checking increases our members’ saving power on everyday purchases to help make the most of their money.”
The credit union said Genius Checking is a high-yield, personal checking account that pays cash dividends on account balances up to $7,500 and debit reward points on purchases.
“The account requirements are simple: no initial deposit or minimum balance requirement, enroll in e-statements, and use your Genisys Debit Mastercard 10 times a month on purchases of $5 or more, excluding ATM transactions,” Genisys said.
