LAFCU Opens New Interactive Teller Location in Perry

LANSING, Mich.— LAFCU has opened a new Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) location in Perry, marking the credit union's first permanent presence in the community and expanding access to banking services for members across the region.

The new two-lane drive-thru facility at 2800 W. Lansing Road combines ATM convenience with live teller assistance through secure video technology, allowing members to complete transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments during business hours while maintaining 24/7 ATM access.

"When we introduced ITMs in Michigan more than a decade ago, we didn't know what the future would hold," CEO Patrick Spyke said during a ribbon-cutting ceremony. "Today, we're proud to continue expanding that vision by bringing convenient, personal banking to Perry. This investment is about more than technology—it's about investing in people, strengthening communities and living out the credit union philosophy of people helping people."

Community leaders joined credit union officials for the ribbon-cutting, with Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jordan Hankwitz calling the project an important investment in Perry and the surrounding region.
