LANSING, Mich. — LAFCU has formed a strategic partnership with LifeTech Academy, an online charter school for students in grades 7-12.
With LAFCU, LifeTech Learners will learn about personal finance through a program that presents life scenarios in which students learn to pay bills, balance a budget and manage unexpected expenses. The mid-Michigan credit union will also be an option for a portion of their real-world, hands-on learning experience, the credit union said.

"Providing real-life adult financial dilemmas to these young students will help prepare them to tackle financial problems when they are faced with them in their own lives.”
