LBS Financial Donates To Rescue Mission

LONG BEACH, Calif. -- LBS Financial Credit Union employees donated hundreds of toys, gifts, clothing and gift cards to the men, women and children assisted by the Long Beach Rescue Mission during their annual holiday breakfast.

Every year, LBS Financial hosts an employee holiday breakfast at an offsite location. The employee holiday breakfast committee selected the Long Beach Rescue Mission for this year’s employee gift donation hoping to make a positive difference in the lives of these men, women and children during the holidays.

In previous years, LBS Financial employees donated toys and gifts to the United States Marines’ Toys for Tots Foundation, Miller Children’s Hospital, Comprehensive Child Development, Long Beach Day Nursery, Children Today, Project Shepherd, the Needy Family Project in Cerritos, Young Horizons and the Women's Shelter of Long Beach.

Approximately 175 LBS Financial employees attended this year’s breakfast and many brought multiple gifts. Gifts were handed out by Long Beach Rescue Mission volunteers to hundreds of families and children in need.
