LBS Financial Makes Donations

LONG BEACH, Calif.–  LBS Financial Credit Union celebrated Giving Tuesday by making two $500 donations to local 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, nominated by their Instagram and Facebook followers.

From Nov. 21-28,  LBS Financial’s social media followers voted for their favorite local charities by commenting on LBS Financial’s Giving Tuesday post. More than 254 votes were cast and 51 charitable organizations were nominated. The credit union randomly selected two organizations to receive the $500.

“Giving Tuesday is a global movement that inspires generosity and giving” said LBS Financial President and CEO Jeffrey Napper. “There are so many outstanding charities in our community and our social media contest was a platform for our Members and friends to share about these worthy causes while also providing them with a possible donation.” 

The two organizations that were randomly selected to receive $500 to their charity were Love Beyond Limits and Mayfair High School Band Boosters.
