Leaders CU Celebrates 50,000th Member

JACKSON, Tenn.–Leaders Credit Union is celebrating its 50,000th member.  To mark the milestone, Leaders CU surprised Anka Criderthe 50,000th member, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital with balloons, goodies, cookies and a $250 Leaders VISA gift card.

Founded in 1957, the credit union began with five educators at a local school here in Jackson. Now 62 years later, Leaders serves all of West Tennessee while remaining true to the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.”

“For over 60 years, our members have been loyal and allowed us the opportunity to serve as their Financial Champions,” President and CEO Todd Swims said. “We will continue to power their passion and make their lives better as a result of being part of Leaders Credit Union.”

In 62 years of service, Leaders Credit Union reported it has expanded to serve members in the fields of education, healthcare, and communication as well as members employed by one of many Select Employment Groups. Leaders serves its members with eight physical branches across West Tenn., as well as a Mortgage office and state-of-the-art call center. Members are also able to access their financial information through the Leaders mobile app or web platforms.

“We know life is busy, and when it comes to technology, we work hard to stay ahead of the curve,” Swims said. “We are where our members are, all 50,000. With mobile and online banking, our members can bank from virtually anywhere.”
