BALTIMORE--MECU of Baltimore was honored during the ALS Association DC/MD/VA Chapter “The Best of the Ice Bucket Challenge Corporate Awards Breakfast” here, which recognized Baltimore area businesses that participated in last year’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
MECU’s video received an award for “Employee Engagement” due to the number of employees involved with the challenge, as well as representation from all levels of the credit union.
At the end of the breakfast, the Association stated that they plan to encourage people and organizations to take the challenge again this August.
