LA CROSSE, Wis. –Marine Credit Union has awarded seven $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors and current college students to be used for post- secondary education during the 2018-2019 academic year.
Marine has given out more than $100,000 in scholarships to students over 20 years. Marine said it is committed to serving its members, investing in its communities and its people.
The Marine Credit Union Foundation sponsored an additional scholarship through the La Crosse Tribune’s Extra Effort A+ Achiever program. The recipient was Lupita Mendoza from Brookwood High School. She will be attending Western Technical College in the fall.
