WORCESTER, Mass.–Wendy Matos Segura, AVP-Finance with Worcester Credit Union, was presented The Raj-Mahendra Jain Award by the Business Administration and Economics department at Worcester State University in a ceremony held at Mechanics Hall.
This prestigious award recognizes Wendy’s outstanding academic performance, including:
- Maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her years at Worcester State University, while also working full time at Worcester Credit Union.
- Induction into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society for adult students who achieve high scholastic standards while balancing work and family responsibilities.
- Inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society, the International Honor Society in Business, Management and Administration.
- Worked with high school students to help them develop personal financial management skills.
Matos Segura has been accepted into the graduate school at Worcester State and will be pursuing a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Accounting.
