ROANOKE, Va.–Member One FCU recently donated $2,500 to Children’s Miracle Network here. The donation was the result of the credit union’s recent Skip A Pay for charity income.
During certain times throughout the year, specifically during the holidays or summer travel times, Member One union allows its members to pay a small fee in exchange for skipping one loan payment to free up money for other important expenses. Member One used part of the fee to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network.
“Member One is proud to partner with Children’s Miracle Network and Carilion Children’s Hospital to support their critical and lifesaving care in our area,” said Andrea Milliron, VP-market relationship manager with Member One. “The opportunity to use a portion of an established fee to benefit this deserving organization made perfect sense to us.”
