ROANOKE, Va.–—For the last several years, Member One has a proud sponsor of the Community Youth Program’s (CYP) Coat and Shoe Drive.
The event gave children in the program the opportunity to pick out a brand new pair of shoes or a winter coat.
CYP is a non-profit program dedicated to providing enriching after-school, summer, and leadership programs for at-risk Roanoke area youth, grades 4-8.
In addition to the sponsorship, Member One employees volunteered their time to help these children pick out their new apparel. Kathleen McEvoy, CYP Executive Director, noted, “The volunteer support for this project is truly fantastic; it’s a one-to-one ratio of Member One staffers to CYP students.“
