ROANOKE, Va.– Member One Federal Credit Union presented the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital at Carilion Children's with $1,000. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals was the beneficiary of Member One’s 2016 third quarter Denim Day.
Each year, local non-profit organizations are selected by Member One to receive monetary proceeds for its “Denim Day for Charities” initiative. Each quarter, employees can choose to donate funds in exchange for wearing jeans on the specified denim day. All proceeds raised by employees are donated to the specified organization.
Member One’s denim days for charities gives employees the chance to give back to the community and support local organizations in Member One’s footprint.
