ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Michigan Business Connection (MBC) has hired Doug Demers as its newest Portfolio Manager.
Demers joined MBC in October 2018 and his primary responsibilities will be to monitor borrowers’ performance to loan terms, financial analysis and performing annual reviews, the company said.
Demers began his financial services career over 20 years ago as a credit analyst and loan review specialist in Northern Michigan. He has held credit analyst positions at First Merit, Dart Bank and most recently Greenstone Farm Credit Services, one of the largest rural lenders in the United States. He has extensive experience in commercial credit underwriting and analysis, but also has experience in commercial portfolio management and review, the company said.
