CONCORD, N.H.–More than 600 people turned out for NH Federal Credit Union’s Annual Fall Festival, where they dished out 600 ice cream sundaes at Beech Hill Farm.
While the event itself is free, NH Federal Credit Union accepted donations to benefit Make-A-Wish NH from event attendees. Several families whose children have been wish recipients enjoyed the festivities as well as NH Federal Credit Union members and the general public. On top of the free sundaes, the credit union offered activities like free corn maze passes for the children, face-painting, fresh pressed apple cider, courtesy of Gary Janinda, an employee of Triangle Credit Union and live music. Throughout the afternoon, children and adults alike danced and sang along to popular hits by a local band, The Sonic Boomers, who donates their tips to Make-A-Wish, NH, as well. The Sonic Boomers recently celebrated donations exceeding $32,000 to Make-A-Wish NH.
Double Midnight Comics, Pope-Memorial SPCA and Families in Transition joined New Hampshire Federal Credit Union at the farm to help make the day a blast.
