PHOENIX—The Mountain West Credit Union Foundation is reporting that during 2015 it and its participating member credit unions helped to raise $98,000 for Children’s Miracle Network.
That included being the signature sponsor for the Children’s Miracle network Challenge, which involved CUs from its three state membership of Arizona, Colorado and Wyoming.
The Foundation said its $25,000 signature sponsorship along with CO-OP’s matching funds provided the starting platform for more than 16 credit union teams to raise funds for this worthy cause.
The top 5 teams were: Desert Schools Federal Credit Union; Arizona State Credit Union; Pyramid Federal Credit Union; Elevations Credit Union; and the Mountain West Credit Union Association. Other teams included Arizona Central Credit Union, Space Age Federal Credit Union, First American Credit Union, Denver Community Credit Union, Hughes Federal Credit Union, Community Choice Credit Union, Landings Credit Union, Fitzsimmons Credit Union, Metrum Community Credit Union, First Credit Union, and Horizons North Credit Union.
