WASHINGTON –NAFCU has promoted Ann Kossachev to Director of Regulatory Affairs.
Kossachev previously served as the association’s senior regulatory affairs counsel.
"Ann has been a tremendous asset to NAFCU’s advocacy efforts since joining the association in 2016," said Carrie Hunt, NAFCU’s EVP of Government Affairs and General Counsel. “Her dedication to representing credit union interests and commitment to NAFCU’s membership will serve her well as she leads our regulatory affairs team.”
As director, Kossachev will oversee NAFCU's advocacy on various regulatory developments from federal agencies, including the NCUA, Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, and Federal Housing Finance Agency, NAFCU said.
Prior to joining NAFCU, Kossachev worked at a law firm focusing on complex commercial litigation. Kossachev is a graduate of the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School and holds a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Binghamton University.
