OYSTER BAY, N.Y.–Nassau Financial FCU served as one of the main sponsors of the Empire State Ride for Cancer, an inspiring event that took place near its branch on Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay.
“This remarkable gathering brought together hundreds of riders and, with Nassau Financial's support, helped raise over $100,000 and counting to advance cancer research at Catholic Health Cancer Institutes and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center,” the credit union said. “The Empire State Ride for Cancer featured a scenic route through the charming streets of Oyster Bay, offering participants a fulfilling experience as they rode for a cause close to many hearts. The event was further enriched by a vibrant street fair on Audrey Avenue, where riders and their families enjoyed a day filled with food, shopping, and entertainment.”
Local vendors, food trucks, and shops opened their doors to the community, creating a festive atmosphere that highlighted the spirit of unity and support, the CU said.
