Naveo CU Again Raises Funds for CMN Hospital

SOMERVILLE, Mass.–For the 13th consecutive year, Naveo Credit Union participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital.

During September, Naveo joined hundreds of organizations and raised funds from employees and members. Naveo then matched the employee donations for a total donation of over $650.

Naveo participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative throughout September, but designated Sept. 13 as Miracle Jeans Day.

“Participants traded in their business attire for jeans and their favorite New England sports team shirt in exchange for a donation to Boston Children’s Hospital,” the credit union said.

To raise additional funds, Naveo extended employee jeans to an additional day each week throughout the month. Donations were also accepted at the branches.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of our employees, members and neighbors during our Miracle Jeans Day fundraiser,” said President/CEO Andrea J. White. “We continue to be awed by our community that embraces the credit union philosophy of people helping people. We are proud to be part of a community that cares so much about ensuring children in need have access to life-saving health care at our local Miracle Network Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital.”
