Naveo CU Employees Raise Funds for CMN

SOMERVILLE, Mass.–For the eighth consecutive year, Naveo Credit Union participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital, the local Miracle Network hospital. During September, Naveo joined hundreds of organizations and raised $1,500 from employees and members. The credit union then matched the employee donations.

Naveo employees participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative by trading in their business attire for jeans and their favorite New England sports team tee shirt in exchange for a donation to Boston Children’s Hospital. To raise additional funds, Naveo extended employee jeans day to all Fridays throughout September. During the donation period, branches were equipped with canisters to collect donations from members.

“Our members and the team at Naveo wholeheartedly embody the credit union motto of “people helping people” and it shows even more so during fundraisers like Miracle Jeans Day. Miracle Jeans Day has become a fundraiser our staff and members look forward to participating in year after year. We are proud to participate in and support our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital which provides life-saving medical treatments for children in need,” said Naveo CEO Rui Domingos.
