SOMEOVILLE, Mass.–For the eleventh consecutive year, Naveo Credit Union participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital, its local Miracle Network hospital.
During September, Naveo joined hundreds of organizations and raised funds from employees and members. Naveo then matched the employee donations for a total donation of over $1,200.
With COVID precautions still in place throughout the country, the Children’s Miracle Network did not announce an exact Miracle Jeans Day event. Instead, they left participants with the option to coordinate their own on their chosen date. Naveo participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative throughout September, with a bigger celebration on Sept. 22.
Participants traded in their business attire for jeans and their favorite New England sports team shirt in exchange for a donation to Boston Children’s Hospital. To raise additional funds, Naveo extended employee jeans day to all Fridays throughout September. Donations were also accepted at the branches.
