SOMERVILLE, Mass.–Naveo Credit Union employee Ana C. The winners not only excel in the industry, but they also have significant potential to leave their mark in the future.

Ana took on the role of a full-time Member Service Representative shortly after being hired, then explored roles in various departments. Throughout her tenure, she has held positions in the branch, Indirect Lending, Collections and most recently, the Mortgage department. Ana coordinates and presents at First Time Home Buyer sessions on a monthly basis, educating and guiding individuals on getting into their first home. Ana has an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from New England College of Business and Finance. In her spare time, Ana enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
"We spend a lot of time ensuring we have a good operating system for credit unions to grow and thrive. But equally important is ensuring we have the right talent to continue to grow credit unions," said Cooperative Credit Union Association President/CEO Paul Gentile. "Rising Stars is a great program to identify and acknowledge those next leaders that will ensure the system stays strong. I want to congratulate all of this year's leaders. It is a very talented group from a very diverse group of credit unions."
“Over her 18+ year tenure at Naveo, Ana has developed a long list of loyal members grateful for her outstanding service to their financial needs. Many have showered her with thank you notes and emails, and with gifts of chocolates, flowers and fruit baskets. Her colleagues at Naveo appreciate her eagerness to offer help and training, and to take on tasks for the good of the lending team and the members of the credit union. Ana is one of the main reasons for Naveo’s loan growth and extraordinary asset quality. I am personally grateful for the many ways Ana contributes to the success of our lending and our institution,” commented Albert Pinho, Vice President of Lending at Naveo Credit Union.
