FRANKENMUTH, Mich.– Neighborhood Mortgage Solutions has made a donation to the Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) in the amount of $2,418.
As a CUSO, NMS shares the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” with their affiliate credit unions, stated NMS.
“This philosophy drives their voluntary team member contributions in support of the credit union community within their home state of Michigan,” NMS added.
Since 2017, NMS has donated a total of $11,381 to the Michigan Credit Union Foundation.
“We’re grateful for the opportunity to impact the many communities served through the MCUF, as they utilize donations to fuel financial education programs, community enrichment grants and professional development scholarships in support of the credit union movement in our home state,” said Jamie York, CEO of Neighborhood Mortgage Solutions.
The NMS team is also organizing a community involvement project each quarter this year. To date, they have collected items for Toys for Tots, PJs for Preemies, and are currently collecting pet food, supplies and blankets for three local Humane Societies.
