MOBILE, Ala.–For the fifth consecutive year, America Saves, a nonprofit initiative of the Consumer Federation of America, has named New Horizons CU among the recipients of the 2022 America Saves Designation of Savings Excellence Award.
“This is an annual, industry-respected award recognizing organizations across the nation who participated in this year’s America Saves Week and have effectively and actively promoted saving strategies during America Saves Week,” the credit union said.
The America Saves’ Designation of Savings Excellence is awarded to financial institutions that display exceptional achievement by motivating individuals to become more financially stable. During the campaign, New Horizons Credit Union went above and beyond with educating members about Direct Deposit, New Start Checking, GreenPath Financial Wellness, and Horizons Heroes Accounts, according to America Saves.
