MOBILE, Ala. & PENSACOLA, Fla.—New Horizons Credit Union’s employees presented a check for $1,344.00 representing fund raising efforts to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
New Horizons Credit Union staff raised funds through special jean days. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer was chosen based on the results of an annual internal survey whereby New Horizons Credit Union staff selects the Corporate Charities they want to support. For 2017, Making Strides was selected as one of the Corporate Charities. Because New Horizons Credit Union staff walked both the Mobile and Pensacola events, the funds raised were split evenly between the two American Cancer Society market offices.
